YRock is a community project that brings together students from all backgrounds and musical influences, creating a pop culture environment for self-expression and development in music, performance and multimedia. The YRock Programme provides a unique opportunity for teenagers and talent to meet other likeminded individuals, form bands, create music/digital media and perform on a regular basis. The YRock Programme is open to any act, talent or audiovisual crew (talent includes bands, vocalists, soloists, dancers, hosting, DJs). For the classically trainined musicians within the YRock Programme we have Clock, which is a fusion of classical and rock styles. |

Ricky "SPINN" Cumes, Producer/CEO Ricky has worked in event promotion and production for over 17 years, his professional sports background and experience in live performance and television was inspirational in co-founding YRock Ltd. Producing & Managing events from the Sheraton Mirage Resorts Davis & Federation Cup Tennis Stars Charity Exhibition “SMASH” to the Fosters Carlton, Ernst & Young, Hutchison-Bell Page XSports Challenge Gold Coast, Aus. As Creative Director for the The Bigger Picture Ltd Ricky successfully conceptualised and produced a story book, bilingual websites, CD/DVD’s and has extensive television, video, live performance & production experience with Star TV, RTHK, Hard Rock Cafe HK, Warner Bros & Channel 7 Aus. Belinda Howard, B.A.(Hons), Managing Director Belinda has 13 years of corporate experience with Jones Lang Wootton in the fields of Agency, Marketing, Sales and Consultancy. An accomplished musician in her own right, Belinda holds a B.A.Hons in Music from Nottingham University (UK) and currently performs with SAR Philharmonic & HK Chamber Orchestra. As concert assistant for the CCOHK, Belinda is responsible for all international talent. Through her interests in event promotion and passion for music and youth, Belinda co-founded YRock Ltd and has since been instrumental in the successful corporate interest, business development and promotion of YRock and YRock events. be@yrock.com.hk |

Cary Abrams, Music Director A stylish and skillful guitarist and vocalist from Brooklyn N.Y. Cary has performed and recorded with top musicians from across the globe. Cary toured with Gary Lewis and the Playboys and performed with Starship, Lisa Loeb, Shaggy and Joe Sample. Cary has worked as a session guitarist recording TV and movie soundtracks and has performed and recorded with Canto popstars such as Jackiee Cheung, Leon Lai and many more. cary@yrock.com.hk |

Chris Collins, B.Mus (Contemporary), Programme Director Hong Kong A professional guitarist/bassist and enthusiastic educator, Chris was born and raised in Hong Kong. Having completed a Bachelor of Music (Contemporary) degree at the Australian Institute of Music in Sydney, he is proficient in a variety of styles.
