The JAM International Music and Dance Festival is a blend of two artistic disciplines, generations of talent and host to the YRock POP Awards in music and dance. The aim of the festival is to highlight overseas artists in Hong Kong and showcase Asia Pacific’s home grown and emerging talent to the International markets. JAM seeks to encourage the development of high quality and original artists in music and dance through providing JAM as a platform for undiscovered talent.
With the vision to grow into a two or even three-day festival YRock engaged the services of Ecovision to green the event and minimize the impact on our environment.
Simon Webbe formerly of Blue (one of the World’s most successful boy bands, enjoying 40 No.1 singles worldwide and selling over 13 million records), headlined the event performing songs from his solo albums “Sanctuary”, “Coming Around Again” and “Grace”.
Teenage Rock sensation Vinyl seen as one of the best young talents in Scotland after achieving second place in the national final of the YRock Battle of the Bands in UK, performed a unique hard rock and aggressive pop set to win the YRock POP Award for Performance as well as band member Darrin Buntin picking up the Best Guitarist Award.
